Crystal Repair Broken Stem Wine Glass

It was an old repair . They made a replacement stem from plaster. I make a new stem from crystal and replaced the old broken stem.

Made a new stem using

glass rod.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ground the old foot flat.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ground the bottom flat.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Joined the old goblet,the new stem and old foot.   Now it matched the rest of the set.

Venetian Wine Glass with a broken stem

The family toasting glass  was broken were the stem meets the foot.   The very ornate Venetian wine glass has been in the family for   generations.
