At Bruening Glass Works, we can literally repair any type of glass wine, water, martini glass etc. Here’s another example of a before and after project that we completed for a customer. You can clearly see the chip in the top of the glass as it was mailed to us.

 
Here’s a shot of the same glass that is now repaired. Additionally, we’ll clean the glass prior to shipping it back to you.

We need to make a couple of bobeches for a antique chandelier. The fist step is to make the crystal blanks.  We cast a mold of the old bobeche in high temp ceramic. We used that mold  to cast the class in to.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The last thing to do is drill the holes for the pins . Then hang the prisms .

DAUM NANCY CHIPPED CRYSTAL VASE REPAIR

The crystal vase had two very large chips in the top. Grinding down the chips was an option but it would have looked very obvious . We made a replacement vase to attach to the old foot.

We removed the old broken vase from the foot.

 

Then we remove what was left of the vase from the foot.

Removed last little chip from the bottom.

New vase top to be attached.

The new vase added to old Daum foot.

Just add flowers.

CRYSTAL BOBECHE CHANDELIER REPAIR REPLACEMENT

The bobeche from an antique chandelier was broken during a move. It has a unique cut glass design. I was send just a small piece of the original. A mold was made of the broken piece so the new blank could be made.

The decanter had a large chip and most of the lip was gone. We cut off the top of the decanter flat. It was an old repair . They made a replacement stem from plaster. I make a new stem from crystal and replaced the old broken stem.

The large crystal bull had a chipped and broken horn.  A big part of the horn was missing. I used the horn on the other side to make a pattern . Then I made a new horn.
