An Antique crystal  chandelier  with a broken bobesche hung for many years at  grama’s house . Grama passed and her grandson sent me the broken crystal  cup. I made a mold of the antique crystal chandelier part so I could make a new one. After blowing a couple blanks I dilled the holes and polished the tops. Antique Glass Repair is very rewarding. Grama’s Antique Crystal Chandelier has a new home. Friends and family try and find the new part .

This decanter is part of a set . It has a silver tray and cruet set so fixing it was a must . It was part of the family and I had to get a little creative to blend in the repair. I added some more etching to hide the new neck sorry I didn’t get a final photo.

Venetian Glass Repair

We received the Venetian glass  figurines” blue couple “via mail.  When they came in I didn’t know if I had all the pieces. In the past, I have worked on many venetian clowns that have needed hands heads and balloons so I was sure I could restore then to original condition.  However, as you can see below, I was able to restore the piece to it’s original state.

Antique Crystal Repair Broken Foot

No chance of repairing  broken foot . The foot was broken off many years ago and the peices were lost. I found a donor foot on a footed vase. It was a little larger than needed but I can grind the foot down to the right size. I cut off what was left of the broken foot and attached the new foot . Missing foot repalced and the antique crystal candlesticks were ready to set the table.

Crystal Repair Of Steuben Candlestick

This time of the year out come the candles and if you let them burn down to low they will crack the glass.

 I made two new glass parts to replace the broken steuben candlestick top and bottom.  This $900.00 Stueben candlestick is ready to use .When I repair  Steuben Crystal  the restoration are cost effective. Glass blowing is the key to this repair . With out the ablity to make new parts this broken crystal candlestick would end up in the trash. This antique crystal candlestick will make many more Christmas Dinners.

Repaired Fish now has a fin to stand on

I repair glass sculptures and I repair memories. Her grandfather was a glass blower and he made the fish back in the old counrty. The two bottom fins got broken . I have to remove what is left of the original fins and make new ones .Grind and polish the bottom of the fish first step. Next make two new fins that match color and size of the old ones. Attach the new fins and I’am done . That wasn’t so bad.

Steuben Crystal Snail Repair

I received two broken steuben snails that were missing their antlers, tenticals, and antennas. I polished the area were the things used to be. Then I made about twenty antlers picking out the best for shaped and sized and attached then. They were as good as new.

Antique Glass Chalice Repair

A customer brought us this green glass piece to repair. The problem was that there was no base to the chalice. We were able to repair this green glass chalice by creating a new base. You can see the before and after picture below. A ntique glass can be repair. I made a new foot.

This brandy glass has a broken/ shadered stem We replaced the broken with a new stem from a donor glass. The glass was not an exspensive glass but it had a etching that made it sentimental. Glassware repair is a large  part of my work.
