Repaired Fish now has a fin to stand on

I repair glass sculptures and I repair memories. Her grandfather was a glass blower and he made the fish back in the old counrty. The two bottom fins got broken . I have to remove what is left of the original fins and make new ones .Grind and polish the bottom of the fish first step. Next make two new fins that match color and size of the old ones. Attach the new fins and I’am done . That wasn’t so bad.

Antique Clock Beveled Glass Door

This antique clock had a broken glass in it so I used a pc of old mirror and removed the silvering The old glass has more of a yellow color to it the newer glass has a much greener color. I save many types of old glass and on occasions have use my kiln to make new glass look old. I then put on a good inch and a half bevel on the glass My hand beveling machines are older than this old clock. They run with leather belts we use electric motors instead of steam now. Hand beveling old glass for this clock has kept its value.Hand beveling is a dieing trade. Antique Carriage Clocks have very thin glass and are the hardest to bevel. I bevel glass for many clock repair shops .

Steuben Crystal Snail Repair

I received two broken steuben snails that were missing their antlers, tenticals, and antennas. I polished the area were the things used to be. Then I made about twenty antlers picking out the best for shaped and sized and attached then. They were as good as new.

Antique Glass Chalice Repair

A customer brought us this green glass piece to repair. The problem was that there was no base to the chalice. We were able to repair this green glass chalice by creating a new base. You can see the before and after picture below. A ntique glass can be repair. I made a new foot.

We were able to repair this broken fish salt shaker for one of our valued  customers.  The customer’s meals are now complete because they had this piece restored.

Bent Glass Curved Glass Light

Replacement bent glass for a new light fixture .We were faced with the challenge of repairing this broken bent flashed glass panel . We were able to make a custom mold from the origanal and successfully bent a new piece and happily ship it back to the costomer.  The cuved glass  was not a true  radius and the glass was white flashed with a forsted ( sand blasted ) texture.          See below for the photos.

Broken Glass Repair Baccarat Crystal Cat

A customer brought us this broken glass cat for repair.  As you can see, a portion of the tail and the leg were broken off of it.  We were able to successfully repair the piece.  Truely undeticable glass repair.  See below for the results.

Crystal Repair Broken Stem Glass Repair

This brandy glass has a broken/ shadered stem We replaced the broken with a new stem from a donor glass. The glass was not an exspensive glass but it had a etching that made it sentimental. Glassware repair is a large  part of my work.

Antique Glass Repair Crown Bubble or Bent Glass Picture Repair

We were challenged by the client to fix this priceless Crown Bubble or Bent Glass piece.  We were able to successfully replace broken glass.  We custom made a mold to slump the glass because the unusual shape of the frame.  Bent oval glass is common, however, this octagon shape is very rare.

Glass Sculpture Repair Chip Repair

We  were challenged to repair this badly broken sculpture brought in by a customer.  It was brought to us in many pieces.  The biggest hurdle of this project was to make it look like it was brand new and wasn’t repaired.  We implemented a new design element that used blue cobalt to meet the customer’s expecations.  Please see the repair gallery below.

Barometer Repair

This broken barometer was brought into the shop for us to repair.  It had a broken tube which we were able to replace.  In addition, we can fix  JTube Banjo Cistern  Barometers.

Steuben Crystal Dolphin Repair

Stueben Dolphin Missing Dorsal Fin.  We were able to fabricate a new fin from the remains of an old Steuben bowl.  Please see below for the repair gallery.
